CategoriesIs it just me or do any of you find violets with the ruffled leaves tend to be slower growing, and seem to do better with natural lighting?
I'm thinking especially of Feather, Yoki and Kei Yoki.... 
Beautiful Picture. This is another one I started from a leaf. I kept 4 plants hoping at least 1 of them will bloom true. Still waiting, It's another slow grower for me.
I've seen pictures of WD elsewhere and couldn't understand the excitement. Now I can. You may be disappointed in a pictures ability to capture it , but yours is much better than what I've previously...
This is such a pretty violet. I have a couple plants I started from a leaf. Is it just me or is this one a slow grower? I would sure love to see it bloom!
I mix up my own using - perlite ,peat,vermiculite, charcoal, super phosphate, and lime
I like Lyon's midnight Sun and Jolly Champ.

Yes I'm busy re potting and I still have a ways to go! I really need to work up an inventory list as well.
I better get busy before Spring is in full swing and life gets even busier!
