We're still trying to get organized after the move it's such a long process. I've gotten all of my violets pretty well organized on stands and I can't wait to see how they do with the well water.

When I tested it, it looked pretty good so we'll see. I did loose a few leaves in the move, but nothing too serious.

    Your violets might just LOVE the well water.. No chlorine at least.
    I would test the hardness, but our city water here is very hard.

    I did test the hardness too and as with any well water, it's very hard. I've been looking for anything that might "soften" it just a bit, but I'm not finding anything. Will hard water hurt the violets?

    No, our water here is SUPER HARD, I've been using it on African violets for many many years. I wouldn't waste time or money to soften it just for your violets.
